Rules

General Rules
 
  • Symposium presentations will be held face to face.
  • Participation is by invitation only, and no external applications will be accepted. Presentations cannot be made on behalf of someone else. The person who will make the presentation at the symposium must be the author or co-author.
  • The dates and rules specified on the symposium website are essential for submitting abstracts and full texts.
  • Participants must make their presentations in the room, day, and time specified in the symposium program. If an unavoidable situation arises, and the presentation cannot be made in the designated place on the program, the symposium secretariat must be informed. If the excuse is accepted, the participant's program will be updated.
  • To keep the interaction between listeners and participants at the highest level, symposium presentations are expected to be in Turkish or English.
  • The language of the symposium is Turkish, English, and Hungarian.

 

Summary and Application

  • The language of the symposium is Turkish, English, and Hungarian.
  • It is mandatory to prepare and submit a summary text in order to apply.
  • A participant can only apply to the symposium with one paper.
  • Summary texts can be written in Turkish, English, or Hungarian.
  • The summary text of the papers should be between 250 and 350 words.
  • In papers prepared in Turkish and Hungarian, an English summary (Abstract) should also be included.
  • Each summary should include at least 3 and maximum 5 keywords.

 

Full Text Submission

  • Full text submission is mandatory for the symposium. Participants who fail to submit the full text within the specified time period will be deemed to have forfeited their rights and their invitations will be withdrawn.
  • Full texts can be written in Turkish, English or Hungarian, according to the participant's preference. However, extended abstracts in Turkish should be included in full-text papers written in languages other than Turkish.
  • Full texts to be submitted should be at least 3000 and at most 7000 words. Accepted and presented papers at the symposium will be published in the "Full Texts Book" after the refereeing process.
  • The writing principles prepared by the Turkish Historical Society should be followed in the preparation of the texts. Papers not prepared in accordance with the specified writing principles will be returned to their authors.

 

Participation Fee and Participation Certificate

  • Participation in the symposium is free of charge.
  • A participation certificate will not be issued unless a presentation is made at the symposium. Certificates of participants who have presented in the halls will be presented in the hall.

  • The travel expenses of our colleagues whom we will host from abroad will be covered by the organization.
  • In addition, all participants' meal and accommodation expenses will be covered by organization.
